Writing – crime e-zine – Thrills, Kills ‘n’ Chaos

If you enjoy writing 1,000-word crime fiction stories and want exposure, this e-zine is definitely a worthwhile target for your stories: Thrills, Kills ‘n’ Chaos.

There’s no payment, but you do get exposure, and that can pay in other ways.

Their submission guidelines are here:

Maximum – 1,000 words

Crime, Thriller and Horror stories are encouraged but most genres will be accepted.

Paedophilia, sexual violence (rape), child abuse or animal cruelty will get short shrift.

Original stories wanted; new stories are preferred but previously published work will be considered: you must own the rights.  If it has appeared in an anthology please check with the publisher/editor that the work is available to submit.  Most are usually OK about it.

One story per submission.

As they say in the submissions page: “Paste your story into the body of an email (preferably from MS Word) OR as a .doc attachment and send it to tkncsubs@gmail.com, with SUBMISSION and the GENRE of your story in the subject line.

“Include a short bio with your submission (and if you wish to a black & white photo) which will appear with your story.

“A quick hello is always appreciated.

“Edit your work as best you can but final editing will be carried out by us.  Any changes required will be discussed with yourselves. Our aim is to publish the best stories and working together we can achieve that.

“You will receive a reply within 4-6 weeks.  If you don’t please feel free to give us a nudge as sometimes real life can get in the way.

“We aim to post a story fortnightly…”

Their website is here

Good luck!
